we gathered 22kg, in just one hour. We found many pieces of metal from bike locks that had been cut when the city takes away old bikes. I mentioned it to the area manager, he will mention it to the bike guys to take that small but dangerous and also valuable pieces of trash with them. Hopefully they are recycled properly.

Trash Hero clean up #8
It was fun! 2 new people joined the growing team of regulars. 2 came late and we missed them, i promise to keep a better eye on my phone next time. please try to be on time.
6 bags alot of stuff in the water, people passing by gave us big smiles and nice words of encouragement. together it is funner! Can t wait t il next week, to meet new people and get some trash of he streets and parks. for pictures check out our facebook page. Instagramcoming soon.

14 kids, 45 adultes, 151 kilos gathered in 1.5 hours in the Vondelpark that looked clean, but if you look abit in detail you can find alot of garbage.
antaflu (as always) cans of beer, condoms, cardboard, carpets, a sheet, a bbq, shoes, plastic food packaging, a heater, a palette, black pieces of rubber foam, glass bottles, a big yellow tennis ball (someone asked to use it so it was luvckily recycled!)
The weather was great and it was amazing how many people showed up, super happy and we enjoyed a biertje afterwards offered bij Brouwerij het Ij/ Blauwe Thee huis from their initiative ijtje voor een karweitje.
