I was confronted by loads of litter when visiting friends in Brighton, UK recently, so I finally used the Litterati app. I snapped 39 items in total–there was more but I stopped! We visited a children’s park and I was surprised by how much stuff was falling out of the bins, scattered on the lawn or just left behind. I mean, this was a children’s park (see the photo.) There is so much packaging these days it begs the question: are bins big enough and are there enough of them? That’s how much garbage we are producing lately.
